Sendo-Sans Conquest

Definitely a fan favorite of hajime no ippo, He’s the rash and brash rival of Ippo who packs a mighty Punch. while Ippo has been sludging through the Mud, Sendo has been taking Japan by storm and now he sets his sights on the world and he Begins his Conquest in Mexico hunting for the man who defeated Makunouchi. In the latest chapter the author Morikawa is really flexing his ability to grow side characters with their own personal stories and goals. The character development isn’t only focused around ippo in this series, Sendo has matured and he’s even currently looking out for his grandma and protecting his former teacher from a possible would be assailant which i feel will come to head in the near future. He has ambition, a love interest, and the charisma to keep us as fans enthralled until ippo makes his way back into the pro ring. Morikawa was influenced by Yabuki Joe in the making of Sendos character, the hairstyle, his clothing, demeanor, and the way the younger kids love him its pretty apparent so if you haven’t i Recommend giving Ashita no Joe a watch here at kissanime.

Chapter 1272

In this chapter we do see Sendo set out to Mexico in typical Sendo fashion with little planning or preparation. He had done a similar thing when he first met ippo before the rookie tournament final when he demanded ippo step up to the plate and kick that hand injury he had suffered. Sendos teacher got the chance to witness his charisma first hand when he gave charge to the many ruffians he had stationed around and grandmas shop keeping guard. she mentions how he went from a troubled youth to becoming somewhat of a leader or hero of his hometown.

Alfonso Gonzalez and his team are not accepting Sendos request for a match due to being upset over not getting his 3rd shot at Ricardo. they are blaming the Japanese for this happening and he refuses to fight any more Japanese opponents. I predict that upon entering Mexico Sendo will begin make waves by charging into various gyms and laying waste to any competition until he finds Alfonso and they can meet face to face which will more than likely end up with fists being thrown in the ring of coarse. Now when it comes down to it I really can’t say who would win if Sendo and Gonzalez were to Fight officially because if he does indeed win that puts Sendo right under the radar of the world champ Ricardo for a world Title fight, and thats the problem as to where would that leave Ippo ?

I would have no problems with Sendo winning personally but we have to look at it as a whole, If Sendo does manage to topple the World and defeat Ricardo then Ippo would definitely be in a whole new state of confusion.
